The Regensburg - Nittenau route is equipped with good asphalt throughout. The first 5 km from Regensburg is still a lot on the bike path, especially on sunny days. After a few kilometers, however, you have the path almost to yourself. A small stop in Regenstauf at the Eisdiehle is recommended. There is really good ice cream! I liked the section from Regenstauf to Nittenau the best. There the bike path leads along the river and along the meadows.
