This archaeological hiking trail leads to the Similaun refuge, below the 3,606-meter peak of the same name. It is particularly famous because here, a few hundred meters higher, the mummy nicknamed Otzi, dating back to about 5,000 years ago, was found. From here you also have a great view of Lake Vernago.

The narrow trail along the mountain offers a special hiking experience. It winds its way directly along the mountainside and repeatedly offers impressive views of the valley, the lake and the surrounding peaks. The natural route creates a feeling of adventure and closeness to untouched nature. Ideal for anyone who appreciates seclusion and authentic hiking trails!

Scenic and technically easy (T 2), but as a mountain trail it requires a certain level of fitness and surefootedness.
