The Parish of San Martino Vescovo is one of the oldest churches in the diocese of Verona. It was mentioned in parchments dating back to the first half of the 11th century. At that time, Peschiera (ancient Arilica) was a flourishing village dedicated to fishing and trade.
The new building was completed in 1822 and, with a few changes, it looks like this today.
