Hiking
The Hefekloßfelsen is located directly on the Schwarzenberg - Johanngeorgenstadt road (S272), between Breitenbrunn and Erlabrunn. The rock towers show exemplary the so-called wool sack weathering of the granite.
The outcrop is Eibenstock granite in its classic, coarse-grained form. The Eibenstock granite is the largest granite body here in the Western Ore Mountains.
The company ditch of the Carolathal cardboard factory, which branches off from the Schwarzwasser, crosses under the Hefekloßfelsen.
