Once you reach the square of the cable car service of the Enel personnel responsible for monitoring the dams, the view that opens up is unique. The turquoise Avio lakes are set in a crowning of mountains, all above 3000 meters above sea level. Waterfalls and turbulent tributaries create a pleasant background noise that mixes with that of the strong thermal wind. The road ends just before the valley face of the lake Benedetto dam.
