The Rifugio Angelino Bozzi or Bozzi Hut was built in 1928. It is dedicated to the memory of Angelo Bozzi, a young Italian soldier who lost his life here. All around are remains of military installations from the First World War. The Rifugio Angelo Bozzi is located at an altitude of 2478 meters.

From the sun terrace you have a great view of the extremely steep final climb up to the pass of the Montozzoscharte. Over coffee and cake, or something hearty, you can watch other bikers fight off the mountain and make bets on who's coming. But do not be happy too soon: If you're on the Albrecht route, you have to go up there as well. ;)

Quaint hut (a little expensive) on which you can strengthen again before the next sliding pass in front of the Forcellina di Montozzo.

A nice little refugio. 26 beds, some 3-storey. But a super nice service. Durschen incl. Hot water + toilet is newly renovated. The food really delicious. Unfortunately they use too much plastic. But the attached museum is really worth seeing.
