Little is known about the history of the Quinheider mill. Except that it obviously belongs to the adjacent Lange farm (lettering "Lange 1902" on the roof of the house) and was shut down sometime in the 1960s. Since then it seems unused and left to decay. A quick look inside the mill also confirmed its sad condition. Whether there is still hope for "Sleeping Beauty" is uncertain.
