The Bötzow Local History Association is working with the Meilensteine e.V. research group to research and document the “Old Berlin-Hamburg Postal Route” around 1800. This includes creating a map showing the course of the postal route and the historical locations of the milestones along it. Whole-mile, half-mile and quarter-milestones have been set up along the route.
