Great cycle paths on and behind the dike lead to this giant. At 65.3 metres, the Campen lighthouse is the highest lighthouse on the German mainland. The free-standing steel lattice tower with a triangular cross-section weighs around 300 tonnes and was built in 1889/1890. Anyone who wants to can climb up over 300 steps and enjoy a great view.
