The beaches of the Bay of Somme have a lot of Bunkers which have blended into the scenery or buried in the sand over time. The Blockhaus du Hourdel is one of the bunkers that was built during the Second World War by the Nazi army. This bunker belonged to the Atlantic Wall (“Atlantikwall”)
