The Labanoras Church has been mentioned in the Vilnius Diocese since 1522, as it was included in the List of Churches of the Vilnius Diocese of that year. The 1675 bishop's visitation record mentions the old, ruined church of Labanor, in which hangs an image of the Virgin Mary, believed to be miraculous. When the church fell into disrepair, Bishop Masalskis of Vilnius built a new church in 1768. It burned down in 1798. In the years 1818-1820 it was rebuilt at the expense of the parishioners. The bell tower is also said to have been built in the 19th century. The 1820 visitation record of the Church of Labanoras states that it is a pine beam building with 7 rectangular windows. Columns erected on brick piers support a high triangular pediment which forms the shield of the thatched roof. The pediment was decorated with three semicircular windows. The roof was covered with shingles in 1849. Both the church and the bell tower were later boarded from the outside and painted brown (Translated from Wikipedia).
