The old royal town of Darłowo - former Rügenwalde - located on the Wipper (Polish Wieprza) has gained fame mainly through the constant advertising for Rügenwald sausage products. The Rügenwalder Teewurst is well known. On the other hand, the traditional Pomeranian sausage from Rügenwalde is only known to the old Pomeranians. However, the advertised “Pomeranian from birch smoke” is made in North Rhine-Westphalia and the mill in Rügenwalde that was sung about was demolished as early as the 1980s. As a Bavarian Mettwurst or "Metka bawarska" - that's how the Rügenwalder Teewurst is known in Rügenwalde itself.

Mountain biking
The beach during the holidays is the perfect way to go on holiday. Some prefer the mountains, others the sea. I love both ends of Poland, but I will have to wait for the mountains.
