The project "Mural - a modern form of tourist attraction" in Darłowo was nominated in the competition "I live here! – Smart ideas for a smart city.
This is a project implemented as part of the Civic Budget in 2016. A monumental painting, called a mural, was made, which is a large-format graphic on the wall of a building located on the port canal in Darłowo, at ul. Portowa 9. Interestingly, the place of its creation is an old icehouse. The mural will give the icehouse a new life and is an eye-catching attraction for those walking along the Nadwieprzański boulevard, which leads to the seaside part of Darłowo - Darłówko.

The originator of the project is a resident of the city, Daniel Frącz. The mural was made by members of the Donut Planet Lab art collective from Wrocław.

The painting depicts an old sea wolf who has traveled the whole world in search of the best place for himself. It is, of course, Darłowo. The work is reflective, but at the same time very positive.
