Don't look for a boundary stone here... Boundary stone 3 is still there, but no. 4 has disappeared. Where it once stood, there is a sign with this inscription:
"This demarcation put an end to the dispute between the Prince-Bishop of Liège and the Prince-Abbot of Stavelot and allowed the construction of the Spa-Liège road, creating a direct link between the principality of Liège and its marquisate in Franchimont , which was an enclave in the area of Stavelot."
The demarcation dates from 1768. In some boundary stones, that date is clearly legible.
