Hiking

Interesting information about the Hirschsprung, a ditch that interrupted the zoo's fencing, but could be overcome by deer willing to mate.

Hiking

At the "deer jump" station you can compete with the animals of the forest. There is a jumping pit filled with bark mulch, on the edge of which there is a measurement and the animal in question is the distance of the jump. Try it out: How far can you get?!!!

Hiking

Historical point in the zoo. Since the princes' own game could not escape in the fenced zoo, special crossings were created for stags willing to mate in order to breed. They could then "jump in" from outside areas into the zoo.
