A well-known memorial to the heavy fighting at the beginning of May 1945 in the forest mountains between Waldmünchen and Domažlice is near the village of Díly (formerly also Nový Postřekov). To the west of the village, above the forest, there is a larger memorial on a forest road that leads to the Sudeten German villages of Waltersgrün (Valtířov) and Nimvorgut (Nuzarov), which were destroyed after 1946: a stone with an inscription, a wooden hut with wreckage and an information board.

A monument commemorates a tragic explosion that occurred here on May 1, 1945, just seven days before the end of the war. An American military jeep with seven soldiers of the 90th Infantry Division of the US Army ran over a landmine that had been placed here by retreating German troops. All the occupants of the jeep died. The remains of the jeep are located in a wooden shelter next to the monument.
