The old tram line between Brussels and Vossem was part of the tram network that the National Company of Buurtspoorwegen developed in the first half of the 20th century.
An electric tram ran on this line. Towards Brussels, the street name 'Tramlaan' reminds of this past. In the direction of Vossem, the route is partly paved road and partly unpaved walking path. The beginning in Sterrebeek and the end in Vossem is marked with a few meters of tracks and an information board.
