The church in Groß Lindow was built in 1850 by the citizens of Oberlindow. The church was completely renovated between 1992 and 1993, and heating and sanitary facilities were also installed. The relief in the chancel is remarkable: a modern, expressive design of the “Fishing of Peter” by the Lindow artist Rosemarie Güttler. The choir and organ concerts that have been taking place here since 1993 have been particularly well received.
