Beautifully located fountain in the middle of the forest. If I interpret it correctly, it is the beginning of the Rench, which flows into the Rhine after 57 kilometers between Helmlingen and Lichtenau.

The Rench spring is located above the district of Bad Griesbach in the Black Forest. It lies in a wooded basin below the Schwarzwaldhochstraße near Alexanderschanze. Here the "Wilde Rench" originates, which later flows through the entire Rench valley.
