Holy Family Church
The Helige-Familiekerk is the former parish church of the town of Schiplaken, which belongs to the Flemish Brabant municipality of Boortmeerbeek, and is located at Bieststraat 304.
The church was built in 1907 and was donated by Georges Terlinden. In 1914 the church burned down and in 1921-1922 it was rebuilt. On November 26, 2022, the church was withdrawn from worship. It was given a socio-cultural destination, including as a library.
It is a neo-Gothic brick basilical cruciform church with a pre-built tower. The church is oriented to the southeast.
