The trip up the Nesaksla is worthwhile when visibility is good - and expensive. From the top you have a view of Andalsnes, Romsdalsfjorden, Isfjorden, Romsdalen and Isterdalen towards Trollstigveien. If there are several cruise ships in Andalsnes, several hundred cruisers can be expected to walk the 100 meters from the pier to the valley station to take the cable car up the mountain.
