    Abuls (also Abula, Abulīte) is a river in Vidzeme, the left tributary of the Gauja (flows 6 km upstream from Valmiera) in Latvia. It rises in the Mežole Hills in the north-west of the Vidzeme Highlands, 162 m above sea level, and flows through the Seda Plains and the Trikata Highlands. It has a gradient of 129 m, in the upper and middle reaches up to 10 m/km. One of the few rivers in Latvia with a male name (Translated from Wikipedia).
