The old fire station at the village pond in picturesque Börnicke has been transformed into a magical little theater! Brandenburg's smallest theater invites the whole family to a varied program of fairy tale theater productions, puppetry, staged readings, jazz and classical concerts. Just let yourself be surprised and get in the mood for the performance in advance in the Geschichtenreich Café!

    Registration is absolutely necessary for the events! (at kontakt@geschichtenreich.com or 0151 / 57 89 19 45)

The fire station theater is located directly on the village pond in the oldest part of Börnicke and, according to the operators, is Brandenburg's smallest theater. I'm not entirely sure, because the "Theater im Bahnwaggon" in Groß Neuendorf an der Oder plays in an old saloon car.

The building ensemble with washhouse and fire station, which was built around 1900, was in danger of falling into disrepair and the old garden was overgrown when, after only two years of construction, the doors of the old, unrenovated fire station opened for the first time in September 2015 for concerts, readings and exhibitions.

In order to take up the tradition, this smallest theater in Brandenburg has the character of a room theater from around 1900 and will enchant with old theater technology. With light and shadow, the facets of the human voice and music, the audience is taken on a journey through time and space.

You can spend the night in the historic fire engine and the Koch family welcomed us very warmly as pilgrims on the Way of St. James. You also get a stamp here.

There is water, shower and toilet in the equally beautifully laid out out building.

It's best to look at the events calendar beforehand, because it's definitely worth it.👍
