Worpzik was first mentioned in a document in 1149.
In 1484 the von Belzigk family bought the property from Prince Woldemar IV.
... 1621 it went into the hands of Anton v. Wietersheim about.
In the 18th century the manor was divided into two farms,
which were managed by two brothers from Wietersheim.
1781 under the government of Prince Karl Georg Lebrecht
Wörbzig in turn went back to the state government, in whose hands it remained until it was bought by Georg Karl Nette.”
