Hiking
For many centuries, the inhabitants lived mainly from weaving and glass-making. The trade route from Erfurt-Nuremberg led through the village and, as can be found in old documents, Friedersdorf was nicknamed or nicknamed “Little Nuremberg” because of the many weavers, which was no joke.
