Bramber Castle was built soon after the Norman Conquest to help William I protect his new territories. The last wall of the tower stands proudly at 46 feet (14 m) high, giving you a glimpse into how the castle once was. If you climb to the top of the motte, you can experience fine views. The castle, which is managed by English Heritage, is free to enter. english-heritage.org.uk/visit/places/bramber-castle.

Free to enter the ruins. You have to pay to park (£2 in 2022). Car park is small and surface is a bit uneven. There are steps to climb to reach the plateau with the remains of the castle in it.
