The Loser is a 1837 m high mountain in the municipality of Altaussee on the northern shore of Lake Altaussee. Its distinctive, castle-like summit structure makes it a landmark of the Ausseerland. The Loser is accessible via the Loser Panorama Road, opened in 1972, which leads up to 1600 m above sea level.
