The 17th-century pilgrimage church of Madonna di Montecastello sits in a breathtaking location about 700 meters above Lake Garda. It is built on a steep rocky promontory that drops almost vertically to the lake. Behind the church, a path leads to the summit cross of Monte Cas. From here, there is a unique view of Monte Baldo or the castle of Malcesine on the opposite shore, as well as of Lake Garda itself.

In front of the church, you can relax and enjoy a coffee from the terrace while taking in the magnificent view. Exposed wall paintings from the time of the church's construction can be admired in the foundation vaults.
