The Madonna Bridge crosses the Turritestrom, just outside the historic center of Castelnuovo Garfagnana, in the "alla Barchetta" area. It is a pedestrian bridge, built in sandstone, with two round arches and a triangular podium on the central pylon. According to tradition, and according to the "Geographical, Historical, Economic Description of the Garfagnana" by Raffaello Raffaelli, it was founded on the initiative of Borso d'Este in 1453.
