Today's ruins come from different epochs (crusader Humbert Castle, fishing village Az-Ziv founded by Sultan Baibars, as well as from the ancient port city of Achsiv). Next to it is an abandoned Club-Med compound and the micronation of Achzisland, founded by Eli Avivi.
