The Grote Kerk (Great Church) in Enschede is the most atmospheric and certainly the most central place in the city. The interior of the church can accommodate up to 400 people. A special part of the church is the beautiful Lambertus van Dam organ from 1892. Chamber music, baroque and early music, choral music, world music and, of course, organ music sounds annually in the cozy atmosphere of the church. Dance and music performances are also organized on a regular basis.
