We are not a commercial operation and not "professionals" in the catering industry. We all work on a voluntary basis. Some of us have put many hours of voluntary work into helping with the restoration and reconstruction of the two buildings - Café and Spieker.

More than 30 men and women who work on a voluntary basis have taken over the service in the café and are happy to be there for you and would like to make your stay in the café pleasant. There are young and old, also from different countries - a colorful team!

The tarts and cakes are freshly baked and delivered daily by local small businesses! We also offer cakes without gelatine, on request we also offer gluten-free cakes.

And of course our coffee is fair trade and organic.
