The Archeological Hiking Trail in the Fischbeker Heide is an open-air museum in the Fischbeker. The path leads along the largest closed group of aboveground visible monuments to Hamburg area. From the Neolithic Age to the Iron Age, the archaeological remains of eleven stations are illustrated by panels. (Excerpt from: Wikipedia 06.11.2018)

Numerous burial mounds of stone, Neolithic and umumbei. Very interesting panels from the Helms Museum. So we were not the first ones here.

There are numerous stone graves to admire. The tables on the hills are very informative and explain well how people must have lived here over 5000 years ago. However, every pile has been taken up once, so not completely original.
