The driveway to Gut Augustenhof with its white manor house impresses with a beautiful old tree-lined avenue. Thanks to the farm shop, the sale of asparagus and then in winter the Christmas trees, which you can also fell yourself, the Augustenhof estate is open and can be driven on.

My tip: On the way back, use the beautiful single trail in the direction of Osdorf and look back at the beautiful tree-lined avenue.

Our beautiful estate can be traced back to the year 1430. Both the owners and the appearance have changed over the centuries. Famous families from Schleswig-Holstein's history, such as von Flotow, Gartmann and Langness, lived here before the Count von Baudissin family took over the estate in 1968. The manor house, which is so magnificent today, has only existed in this form since that time. Fires in the 1800s and 1900s and renovations by the owners had changed its appearance a little over and over again.

In 2009 the farm experienced a generation change. Classic farming, modern pig fattening, fresh Nordmann firs, a cozy Christmas market, regional asparagus and a loving farm shop find their place here.
