Quoting Wikipedia: The Wagristoratore project was a building and catering facility for automobile tourists on the Italian side of the San Giacomo Pass. It consisted of a sleeping car and a dining car. The two cars stood - without bogies - on six concrete pillars each. The company was probably destroyed by Italian partisans in 1943. It is not clear, however, whether partisans set fire to them during withdrawal movements to Switzerland, or whether fascists wanted to take their shelter and set fire to the wagons. To this day, the pillars of the project are still on the pass.
