Pure nature for cycling. Between mass Babben and Crinitz.

Beautiful bike path from Lindthal to Babben to Crinitz. The section between Lindthal and Babben leads through forest only. Only one side of the way is paved. The other side is loose gravel road.

The district Babben belongs to the municipality Massen-Niederlausitz in the Elbe-Elster district. It is located in the nature park Niederlausitzer Landrücken. In the village there is a lively club life, u.a. Archery. In the village itself, two restaurants can be visited. A beautiful old village church is also worth a visit. The Ursulagrund is not far away. It concerns a forest in the Bachtal of the Schrake, between Babben and the neighboring Schrakau located. Here you can find a hiking trail that crosses the meandering Schrake through several wooden bridges. The valley was named in memory of Gertrud Therese Ursula Wätjen (born Dietze, 1864-1899), the first wife of the former owner of the Drehna castle Johann Carl von Wätjen.
