Ratzenried has a special attraction to offer. The village, which has already won several awards in the "beauty contest", can offer not only beauty but also interesting historical views. It is thanks to the Ratzenried local history association that the historic houses in the village and in several of its hamlets have received signs that record the village life and goings-on of yesteryear.
