Snack place with bench and grill

The North As Ferry "Bitten". The nicest way to North Als on the island Als. The ferry "Bitten" leaves every half hour from Ballebro and Hardeshøj to Als. The crossing takes 10 minutes, where you can move on the ferry and enjoy the beautiful view either to Als or Sundeved. Or you can also stay in the salon with its 50 seats. The ferry can accommodate about 30 cars. The ferry route was in use before 1683 and is still used by tourists and islanders from North Als the whole year round. If you have children on holiday, then a ferry crossing is almost a MUST and is a nice change from a drive.
