The Cork Stone is one of a number of impressive natural outcrops on Stanton Moor. With steps carved into one side, and a few handles hammered into the top, it is easy to climb the the curious weathered sandstone. Getting down, though, is a little trickier.

This stone is a suprise to most on their first visit to the moor as its completley unexpected, tend to be a few people climbing up and down etc, try to time it righ or get there early if you fancy a go unless your willing to queue :)
