Together with the Strabrechtse Heide, the Lieropse Heide forms the largest contiguous heath area in North Brabant. This is how a large part of Brabant must have looked about a century and a half ago. The route takes you through an old production forest that has shaken off the clean lines. You will also see the largest heath in our country, which is famous for its vegetation and the marsh birds that reside there. Chances are you'll hear a rustle in the trees along the way and come face to face with… a cow. A walk in pure nature.
