The "Starý Martin" (Old Martin) mine tunnel was one of the most important mines in the Krupka region. From the 14th century to the 1930s, mining was carried out here on one of the richest and longest tin veins in Bohemia. Today, a visitor mine with an open-air museum provides clear information about the different methods of ore extraction and mining in the past and present. A collection of historical objects, an overview of the coats of arms of all Bohemian mining towns and an exhibition of minerals and rocks complement the exhibition. The so-called "spring of happiness" with stalactites is particularly worth seeing. The tour along the approximately one-kilometer-long route takes about 45 minutes. There is a large car park directly opposite the mine for visitors.
