Hiking

Eremo di San Giorgio or Eremo dei Camaldolesi is a small hermitage of the Camaldolese. Eight hermits manage this place of inner and outer peace and contemplation. At the entrance there is a small shop with typical local products of excellent quality. Interesting insights here:

A moderately difficult hike with good shoes. It can be reached in about 45 minutes from the church of Santa Maria Maggiore in Garda.

Hiking

Hermitage about 1 hour walk from the center of Bardolino or Garda (depending on the side from which you climb). Reachable with a path that is sometimes sloping, but without particular technical difficulties. Inside the hermitage there is a church where masses are celebrated and also a small shop with typical products made by the monks.
