The ascent is newly asphalted up to the sports field. Rolls very well. However, I would recommend this side as a descent, since the Brombacher Straße in the direction of Hirschhorn is quite bumpy. This bothers less on a driveway. In terms of landscape, I also find the Brombacher Straße much nicer. Pleasantly shady valley, through the small village of Brombach and past the Brombach mill. Almost no traffic.
