The Falkertsee is located at the Fuse des Falkert (in the western Gurktal Alps) and, according to the Carinthian Institute for Lake Research, is likely to be of glacial origin. It is located at 1872 m above sea level and is mainly used for tourism (managed huts, hotel around the lake, fishing).

In the middle of a rustic stone pine forest, you can relive the Heidi story in the Heidi-Alm children's adventure park. At 26 stations, children and parents can find out the stories of Heidi and her friends that everyone knows from cartoons.
And there is a lot more to experience
There is a great adventure playground and in a small lake, children can learn to Amheln for a fee and under supervision - the lake is filled with char from June to September. In summer the goats Schnucki, Bärli and Schwänli are also on the Alm.

The Heidi-Alm Falkert, the children's adventure park in the Nockberge at 1,875 m, offers something for everyone.
The only Heidi Alm in the world extends over approx. 3 hectares, embedded in a rustic stone pine forest. Here, with over 100 characters, the story "Heidi, your world is the mountains" is retold and made tangible for young and old. The Familienalm awaits you!
