The village square offers a meeting place for Hohenböken residents and guests with the bakery and the pavilion, the roof of which has the shape of a beech leaf (Hohenböken!).
The 14 beeches on this square symbolize the new farms that were built after 1935
(from the division of the Hohenböķen estate).
This location was designed and created by the Hohenböken village community, gathered in the Hohenböken e.V.
Many volunteers helped with the support of the municipality of Ganderkesee and the association
dorferneuerung Hasbruch in the implementation of the measures.
