The Vineta symbolizes the lost Magdeborn church and is a memorial to the places that had to give way to the Espenhain open-cast brown coal mine. This resulted in today's Störmthaler See and Markkleeberger See. With an eaves height of 15 meters, the Vineta is currently considered the highest floating structure on a German lake. With its historical and aesthetic uniqueness, the floating church is a very special wedding venue.
