This bridge, built in 1879, was given the elliptical passage typical of the line, but with a segmented arch at the front. The wing walls, cheeks, the lower abutment masonry, the vault, the header and the parapet were built in brick masonry. Red sandstone was used for the cheek cover and the imposts, the architectural structure is emphasized by protruding brick layers and the parapet is placed on an arched frieze. Another round arch was placed in front of the segmental arch, whose architectural structure of brick cornice bands in the spandrels was provided with a brick arch with the inscription R (Rheinische) E (Eisenbahn) G (Gesellschaft) and another with the date 1877. A large number of bricks had to be renewed.
