On the foundations of a pre-Reformation church in 1880, today's building was erected in historicizing style by church architect Hugo Altendorff from Leipzig. Particularly worth seeing are the glass windows designed by Christoph Grüger (Schönebeck). In the sanctuary you can see two windows indicating Good Friday and Easter, as well as a baptismal window and a Pentecostal window. In this modern designed church regular concerts and services take place.
