The former spinning mill was converted into a hotel - Hotel Riverside - in 2009. A historical place. Founded in 1865, the yarn spinning mill was a welcome addition to small-scale farming for many residents of Weiach for decades. Like all textile processing companies on Swiss soil, SLG Textil AG, based near Rheinsfelden (Zweidlen, municipality of Glattfelden) in the Zurich Unterland, had been struggling with cheap competition from East Asia for a long time. The core of the architecture has been preserved. From today's excursion terrace you have a view of the Glatt, which flows into the Rhine.
