The Eglisau railway bridge is a single-track railway bridge over the Rhine and was built between 1895 and 1897 by the then Swiss Northeast Railway. The bridge has a total length of 457 meters and a height of 50 meters above the river. The bridge is in three parts: it is an iron truss bridge over the Rhine. In addition to the middle section, there are twelve stone arches on the right side of the Rhine and nine on the left.
